The inimitable Northside Fourth of July Parade (sponsored by the Northside Community Council) and its sister event, the Northside Rock ‘N Roll Carnival, July 3rd-4th (brought to you by the Northside Business Association and sponsored by Cavalier Distributing, MadTree Brewing, & Urban Artifact), are the most anticipated community events of every year, as they truly show the inclusive, fun and eclectic spirit of this diverse neighborhood.This year’s events are chock full of talent and creative energy you don’t want to miss!

–>The action starts Monday, July 3rd in Hoffner Park at 4pm, with a beer garden, food trucks, entertainment for the kiddos, plus free live music from:

–>The party continues Tuesday, July 4th, with Kegs n Eggs at 10am in Hoffner Park, followed by the parade which starts at Noon at Hamilton and Ashtree and travels south on Hamilton Avenue to Hoffner Park, and then more free live music in the park from:

EXPANDED FOOD OPTIONS IN NORTHSIDE ON THE 4th OF JULY:

  • Ruth’s Parkside Café opens at 11:30am and will serve not only their dinner menu all day, but will be grilling ribs and chicken and corn on the patio.
  • Melt Eclectic Café opens for the first time in their new location, 4pm-10pm.
  • The Kitchen Factory opens Noon to 4pm serving up pizza and more.
  • The Comet opens at 11am serving Mimosas, Bloody Marys, and a full bar, and then starts serving food at 12 noon, and offering front row seats to watch the parade from the sidewalk, with easy access to A/C and bathrooms. Open all day.
