RISE Coalition Happy Helping Hour and Artisan Craft Sale

RISE Coalition is an organization working to end the act of acid violence worldwide and help survivors of these horrific acts move forward in life supported and empowered. I was first struck by the survivors’ heartbreaking stories and then moved by their courage and strength. I also fell in love with the beautiful hand crafted pieces that the survivors make as a means to raise funds for themselves and the oraganization. I searched my heart to find a way to help. Certainly, together, we can do more than I can on my own. So friends, here is where you come in.

On July 14th please come and do your part in helping these amazing men and women in a Happy Helping Hour at the Listing Loon. You will be able to purchase the beautiful artisan crafts and/or make a donation to the Acid Survivors Network. The LIsting Loon has also graciously offered to give 10% of sales during this special happy hour to help with the cause. So just a drink with friends will help. Amazing, right?!? I know summer is busy, but mark your calendars for this event and please stop in. Any contribution will go a long way.

If you know you can’t make it, there are other ways to help. First, go sign this petition. The only way to really help stop acid violence is to regulate the sale and distribution of acid.
