The mission of NEST is to ensure Northside endures as a thriving and vibrant community by revitalizing the built environment and improving neighborhood livability.
Our strategic goals are to:
•Increase the diversity of housing options and increase/sustain affordable housing units for current and future Northsiders
•Support the business district by reducing vacancies and blight while supporting existing businesses, prioritizing the 4000 block of Hamilton Avenue and Knowlton’s Corner
•Improve the built environment throughout Northside with a focus on pedestrian safety, multimodal transportation, and placemaking to increase community satisfaction with public spaces.

The Northside Business Association was founded as the Northside Business Club and has been serving Northside since 1907. We’re the official voice with the City of Cincinnati for the Northside Business District. The NBA serves to create and maintain vitality in the Northside Business District, by offering resources for all Northside businesses and working together to cultivate our fun, eclectic, and diverse neighborhood.
