Bendu Academy is a unique martial arts academy that welcomes all people, from all walks of life. In a world of male-dominated martial arts and “boys’ club” mentalities, Bendu is proud to be body positive and LGBTQ+ friendly, and its schedule offers women’s-only classes.

The training environment fosters mindfulness, compassion, confidence, and inner drive. According to the owners, “We understand that martial arts is as much a mental practice as it is a physical one, and respect the vulnerability and commitment that each of our students enters the space with by providing them patient, expert instruction through a variety of teaching styles. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or starting your first day of training, we’re confident we can help you become the martial artist you’re striving to be.”
