Slow Glows

Slow Glows was founded in fall 2016 by drummer Rachel Thode, who soon recruited Kelli Redding on guitar/vocals and original bassist Liz Slocum (eventually replaced by current bassist Ian Gorby). Slow Glows played their first show in April 2017 and have since then played various venues across the Cincinnati area, including Northside Tavern, Urban Artifact, Madison Live, The Southgate House Revival, The Hub OTR, and countless others. In fall 2017 they recorded their debut EP, “Star Trail,” and played Ladyfest Cincinnati. They are taking the beginning of 2018 to plan for a vinyl release (more details coming soon!) and write new material for a full-length LP.

The Cordial Sins

The Cordial Sins are an alternative rock group hailing from Columbus, Ohio. The group’s fronted by powerful vocalist and classically trained-violinist, Liz Fisher, whose musical expertise is further empowered by a profound lyrical imagination. Lead guitarist, Corey Dickerson, grounds the band’s rock roots with shimmering guitar licks heavily influenced by Radiohead, Real Estate, and Nels Cline.
The result is a sonically bold blend of alt-rock, shoegaze, and pop. The Cordial Sins released debut EP Only Human in October 2017 and have since received continued live show support and airplay from tastemaker Alternative station, CD102.5 FM. The Sins have supported notable acts including Genevieve (of Company of Thieves) and Wolf Alice.

“A collective of four distinct personalities initially named after singer, songwriter, and guitarist Brianna Kelly, the band is now truly — at least in terms of their namesake — a band. Their debut ‘seen + unseen’ is less of an album and more of an experience. It washes over you like a low tide wave from a sun-drenched ocean. It has the feel of a classic shoegaze album: atmospheric but without the indecipherable lyrics. And though it is Kelly’s vocals (specifically, her vocal restraint) that are the centerpiece of this sublime seven-song EP, it is obvious from the start that this is an all-hands-on-deck affair.”
