PAR-Projects Education Launch

We are proud to announce that PAR-Education – in partnership with Kennedy Heights Community Center – has launched! Now we just need a little help spreading the word! We encourage you to view our courses below, but also to share this information with others to help us hit the ground running.

All of our classes have been designed for entrepreneurial-minded adults, teenagers (sixteen and up), and/or community members who are looking to learn a few new marketable skill-sets.

Oftentimes, our “driving age” teens are not offered educational opportunities related to creative careers. In the same breath, a lot of entrepreneurs find it difficult to maintain their creative business content. PAR- Education seeks to address both of these concerns by offering courses that encourage creativity, problem solving and applied arts training while also highlighting how these skills can help stimulate economic growth.

PAR-Education offers two course structures: 8-Week Classes or 2-Weekend Workshops. Our current course catalogue includes:

8-Week Courses:
+ Intro to Photography and Digital Image Processing

+ A Hero’s Journey: Intro to Story Conception and Video Editing

+ Maintaining a Sketchbook Practice

2-Weekend Workshops:
+ Introduction to Creative Tech

Please also note, need-based scholarships are available once we meet our class minimums. Unless otherwise noted, classes take place inside the Lindner Annex of Kennedy Heights Arts Center.
