Doctor’s Orders: A Benefit for Kathy Y. Wilson

Join us August 31st at The Comet to raise funds for and raise a glass to writer, journalist, teacher and bon vivant, Kathy Y. Wilson. Kathy has been living with end-stage renal failure and congestive heart failure and has been unable to work in recent months. (Yes, THAT’S why you’ve been deprived of her writing lately.) She was denied state disability coverage and is now in the process of hiring an attorney who can challenge this decision and advocate on her behalf.
That’s where you come in: Join us Thursday, 8/31 for a night of entertainment and an opportunity to support Kathy and Kandice in their quest to follow doctor’s orders. Our contributions will help give Kathy rest, peace of mind and the opportunity to heal. See you there!
