Crosswalk Flag Making for Pullan and Langland

The crosswalk of Pullan and Langland has been a safety issue for our students for awhile. I am organizing a flagmaking party so that students and families will have a flag to wave while they are crossing the street to and from school. Waving flags can make our small children more visible to oncoming traffic, and its fun! Technically there is no crosswalk at this intersection, so its even more important that we make our presence known. I have the contaniners and dowel rods, donated by our one and Only Hoop and Needle. If anyone has fabric, markers, ducttape, etc that they would like to use, please bring them!
