Creating a Trauma Informed Classroom

April 5, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Facilitated by Sarah Buffie.

The classroom can be a stressful place for teachers and students alike. When students are hurting, it can manifest in ways that often get misinterpreted. But the classroom has the power to be a safe and healing space for children under considerable stress at home. Everyone has the power to be a healer- in this 6-week learning community, teachers and education professionals will gain support and deeper understanding of childhood trauma, while continuing to build their own resilience as educators. The Hive community emphasizes a mindfulness and self-care approach to all learnings.

Not an educator, but interested? Join us. This class is for anyone who is interested in learning about how to support children in their developmental journey. http://www.soulbirdconsulting.info
