BrewDog Meet the Brewery Pint Night w/ Cheese Pairing

At H/G we have a passion for craft beer and we love sharing that passion & knowledge with you. Every Thursday we invite a brewery into H/G so you can get a chance to try some new beers and learn a little bit more about the craft.

On Thursday December 7th we will be joined by BrewDog USA for a tap takeover event! In addition, we will be pairing each beer with a cheese from our friends at Morsel & Nosh

We’ll have the following on draft:

5AM Saint – Red Ale that is as malty as it is hoppy. As anarchic as it is structured. Bitterness and sweetness, all neatly messed up in a triumph of pure chaos.
Malts: Maris Otter, Caramalt, Munich Malt, Crystal and Dark Crystal Malts
Hops: Nelson Sauvin, Amarillo
Dry Hops: Simcoe, Cascade, Centennial, Ahtanum, Nelson Sauvin

Jet Black Heart – Nitro Milk stout, loaded with oatmeal for an extra lush mouth-feel and nitro dispensed on draft; expect decadent cacao, subtle roastiness, and autumnal fruitiness with a dark seductive edge

Elvis Juice – An American IPA with a bitter edge that will push your citrus tolerance to the brink and back; Elvis Juice is loaded with tart pithy grapefruit peel. This IPA has a caramel malt base, supporting a full frontal citrus overload – grapefruit peel piled on top of intense us aroma hops. Waves of crashing pine, orange and grapefruit round out this citrus infused IPA.
Malts: Cara, Extra Pale
Hops: Amarillo, Citra, Magnum, Mosaic, Simcoe

We are partnering up with CAIN-Churches Active In Northside in the month of December and will be donating 10% of the proceeds from the draft sales. In addition, we are working with CAIN all month in collecting donations of hygiene products. We are asking for the following items if you are able to donate: Toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, tampons/pads, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, dish/laundry detergent, soap, razors, lotion, ethnic hair care and shaving supplies.
