Bell’s Brewing Meet the Brewery Pint Night

At H/G we have a passion for craft beer and we love sharing that passion & knowledge with you. Every Thursday (well most of them) we invite a brewery into H/G so you can get a chance to try some new beers and learn a little bit more about the craft.

On Thursday January 18th we will be joined by Bell’s Brewery for a tap takeover event!

Here are the beers we will have on tap.

Third Coast Old Ale (Barleywine – American) – cellerable American-style barleywine that has notes of dried fruit and caramel embedded in a rich malt background

The Wild One (American Wild Ale) – The Wild One begins, not as a single beer, but distinct batches fermented in wooden foeders each with its own array of flavors. Our brewers sample and blend to taste, resulting in a refreshing brown ale with a tartness buoyed by fragrant aromas of ripe red raspberry, cherry, apple and a bit of funk from Brettanomyces yeast.
Minimal hop character and mild toasty, caramel malt flavors support the ripe raspberry, tart, fruity, vinous character of the wild fermentation

Bell’s Two Hearted – Brewed with 100% Centennial hops from the Pacific Northwest and named after the Two Hearted River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, this IPA is bursting with hop aromas ranging from pine to grapefruit from massive hop additions in both the kettle and the fermenter.
Perfectly balanced with a malt backbone and combined with the signature fruity aromas of Bell’s house yeast, this beer is remarkably drinkable and well suited for adventures everywhere

The other thing we love around these parts is dogs. We are working with dog related organizations in January and will be donating 10% of the proceeds from the draft sales, including crowler and growler fills throughout the day.
