A Delicate Motor [ADM] is the sound composition project of Adam Petersen, a Cincinnati native. Adam, a classically-trained pianist and percussionist, composes by way of energetic improvisation, expressive vocalization, and meditation on the repetition of loops.

Originally a solo, loop-based songwriting effort, ADM has expanded to incorporate drummer / producer Ben Sloan [WHY? / Lazy Heart / Naytronix], and guitarist / bassist Stephen Patota [The Happy Maladies / Lazy Heart / Naytronix]. The trio recorded an album with Henry Wilson [Pop Empire] in the summer of 2016, and have since developed the ensemble to include vocalist Libby Landis, vocalist / guitarist Brianna Kelly [Soften] and vocalist / pianist Rachel Mousie.

In April 2018, the ADM ensemble will be performing for the MusicNOW Festival in support of Ben Sloan, Artist-in-Residence for this year’s festival. In June 2018, ADM will be releasing Fellover My Own, its second full-length studio album, with SofaBurn Records.

“Fell Runner is a Los Angeles-based rock band formed in 2012 by four music students at the California Institute of the Arts. The band originally started as an independent study in applying West African rhythms to western song forms. Fell Runner’s music is asymmetrically rhythmic while simultaneously melodic and danceable with layers of vocal harmonies and interlocking guitar parts. A band consisting of diverse musicians (current/previous members of HAIM, Harriet, The Americans), Fell Runner brings a wide range of influences to its music placing emphasis on energetic live shows.”
