Urban Artifact – Meet the Brewery Pint Night

At H/G we have a passion for craft beer and we love sharing that passion & knowledge with you. Every Thursday (well most of them) we invite a brewery into H/G so you can get a chance to try some new beers and learn a little bit more about the craft.

On Thursday February 15th we will be joined by our good friends just down the street from Urban Artifact for a tap takeover event.

Tap List:
Palmistry (2017) – A double version of the classic Berliner Pale Ale (A tart pale ale) infused with over 2,200lbs of tropical fruit per batch, roughly 1.2 lbs. per gallon! Pineapple, kumquat & white guava give this beer huge tropical juice flavors and aromas with just enough tartness to balance it all out.

The Gadget – A deep royal purple color hints at the lush berry fruit flavors to come. Aroma of fresh picked raspberry & blackberry with a whiff of clean malt, all work in concert to mask the coming wave of tartness. On first sip, you may very well think this is a fruit smoothie, but then it hits you. An impressively tart kick right in the cranial nerve. Mouthwateringly delicious, fruity, and refreshing.

Pinwheel – Bursting with orange aromas accompanied by bready wheat malt flavors and bright acidity, this Spring Gose is a bright and vernal treat. Over 30 lbs per barrel of the 16th century citrus, kumquats, went into making the refreshing example of a Gose.

Finn (Variant) – A Tart Ple Ale, to be hopped like a citrusy American Pale Ale with an all barley grain bill, yet brewed with a crisp tartness like a Berliner Weisse. Big fruit and apricot hop flavors lead the charge. Hops: French Triskel & Mosaic

We are partnering with Wordplay Cincy in the month of February and will be donating 10% of the proceeds from the draft sales, including crowler and growler fills all day on Thursday. Wordplay helps Cincinnati’s young people fulfill their potential by making connections through reading, writing and storytelling.
