The Board of the Northside Community Fund is thrilled to announce the recipients of NCF Funding Cycle for 2024. Seven different Northside-based non-profits submitted applications requesting funding totaling $14,450. With $9,722 available for this year’s distribution, the NCF Board thoroughly reviewed the applications and decided to award grants to (5) of the applicants per the list below:
1). The Northside Community Council’s Sustainability Committee received its requested $1,000 for supplies and materials for the Northside Great American Cleanup scheduled for April 27th.
2). Northside Youth Soccer received its requested amount for funding for the replacement of goal posts and nets in the amount of $2,500.
3). Food for Thought Cincinnati received its requested amount of $1,000 to offset the costs of providing public meeting space for Northsiders.
4). NEST (Northsiders Engaged in Sustainable Transformation) received its requested amount of $1,000 for kick-starting a phase two mural project within the business district.
5). Caracole received its requested amount of $2,450 for sponsorship of the holiday tree sale that is returning to Northside as a fundraising tool this year.

The Northside Community Fund is an endowed fund under the umbrella of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, where assets are held in a trust fund, guaranteeing NCF will be solvent for perpetuity. The present balance of the fund is approximately $169,255. GCF determines the amount available on a yearly basis taking, while maintaining the balance remains healthy for future year distributions.
