Neighbors who know one another and have laughed together are more inclined to be involved and to make their neighborhood a nicer place to live. DESCRIPTION:Starting to prepare for 2018’s April performance of Signals For Immediate Music at the Contemporary Art Center\,\nwe will have our first rehearsal with the orchestra part.\nIf you’ve been to one of my improv choir workshops\, you probably know that I use the conduction signs borrowed from the London Improvisers Orchestra\, and Butch Moris\, which in turn\, were developed further with the Royal Improvisers Orchestra in the Netherlands.\nFor coming wednesday I invited a TON of the most absolutly best brilliant musicians I had the pleasure and honor to play music with here in Cincinnati for the last four years. Yes! I gathered the Cincinnati Cats! And we are allot! Large ensemble\, diverse instrumentation and approaches towards music. Boy o Boy I can’t wait to hear that first note!\nWhat I am hoping to achieve in this rehearsal is an understanding of the signs and development of our unique sound as a group. So this is very exciting!
