August 19. 2017.\n10pm-2am.\nFREE. 21+. \nThe first collaborative effort by two of Cincinnati’s alternative hip hop pioneers\, Abiyah + Evolve\, ‘Boom’ inspires overcoming obstacles through self-motivation and self-improvement…with a unique and melodic fury.  \nOffered on high-quality chrome cassingle (cassette single) in two versions\, one produced by Oakland-based DJ HALO (with post-production rhythm cuts by DJ Rare Groove)\, the other produced by St. Petersburg\, Russia-based Possible Address\, with additional production by Evolve. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the culmination of our Kids’ Day summer program to celebrate another successful summer. This year\, over 100 kids have left MoBo with a sense of ownership\, responsibility\, and community—nearly triple our output from last year. \nMoBo’s Kids’ Day program offers local kids the opportunity to repair\, maintain\, and build bicycles with one-on-one guidance from experienced mechanics. Once a week\, we open our shop\, its tools\, and our volunteer mechanics’ expertise exclusively to the servicing of kids’ bikes.  Participation in Kids’ Day is free for all youth members.  Additionally\, MoBo collects donated bicycles and matches them with kids who need bikes. Mechanics work with each new owner to make repairs and adjustments as necessary. Helmets are also distributed free of charge.  \nCommunity organizations and individuals have given their support through donations as well as their time and resources to enrich our youths’ experience by partnering with Kids’ Day to provide artistic\, cultural\, and academic activities. Partners this year included WordPlay Cincy\, Civic Garden Center\, Dramakinetics\, Happen Inc.\, Tom Sparrough (The Space Painter)\, Mel Fickenscher\, Indigo Hippo\, Children’s Hospital\, Spun\, Groundwork Cincinnati\, and Lord’s Gym.
