The structure for belonging and transforming is not technique. Its art. And its art that takes soul. Deepen your own art and soul with a 6 week small group facilitated by one of Cincinnati’s veteran organizers. This workshop teaches bicycle safety to adults through the relative safety of riding on the neighborhood streets of Northside. We will build stamina and gain confidence by practicing how to get from here to there in an urban setting.  \nBring your bike\, your helmet (required)\, and be prepared to have a great time. If you do not have a bike (yet)\, there is a Red Bike Station at Hoffner Park – first come\, first serve\,  \nDESCRIPTION: Introduction to urban riding. Adults only. \nWHO: Adult cyclists who want to ride on the urban street safely and confidently. \nWHEN: May 1st\, 8th\, 15th\, and 22nd at 6:30 pm sharp. \nWHERE: Hoffner Park (Hamilton Ave. and Blue Rock) in Northside. \nREQUIREMENTS: You\, your roadworthy bicycle\, your helmet\, and lights. \nGOAL: To slowly and comfortably build each participant’s confidence and stamina so that each participant will be comfortable riding through Northside’s neighborhoods. \nMANIFESTO\n1. SUMMARY:Comet Bluegrass All-Stars
DESCRIPTION:Two sets every Sunday\, at 7:30pm & 9pm. \nThese Sunday night sessions at the Comet are informal and known to draw a diverse audience from children to senior citizens from all walks of life. The repertoire of the band is very broad covering numerous genres in the bluegrass framework. Audiences soon discover that in addition to fine instrumental work\, each member sings as well\, making the whole greater than the sum of it’s parts.  \nThe Comet Bluegrass All-Stars were assembled in 1996 as the Sunday night house band at The Comet. The band soon gained popularity beyond the Comet lounge\, and has performed at the opening ceremonies of the World Choir Games as guests of the world renowned Cincinnati Pops Orchestra; opened for bands such as Del McCoury\, Ricky Skaggs\, and Sam Bush; and has won numerous music awards.
